JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Nation’s 12th Largest Public Utility is currently recruiting an ENERGY EFFICIENCY STRATEGIC MARKETING CONSULTANT. They serve over 317,000 electric and 19,000 water customers with a work force of approximately 900.
DUTIES:
- Provides analysis, planning and strategic marketing support for residential Energy Efficiency and Customer Renewable programs.
- Collaborates with Communications and Marketing staff on key marketing deliverables such as advertising and press releases.
- Partners with Program Managers to design programs and develop program plans.
- Coordinates marketing efforts across the residential program portfolio and pursues opportunities for regional collaboration.
- Conducts research and develops strategic marketing plans that support the accomplishment of program plans, goals and objectives, while working in coordination with the Communications and Marketing organization.
- Understands the Energy Efficiency and renewable market, analyzes customer needs and marketing data, and develops recommendations on program design, performance targets, and life cycle plans to staff and District management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires BA in marketing, communications or related field
- Five (5) years experience in the marketing field with emphasis on research and advertising.
- Washington State Drivers License required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prefer experience in program implementation.
WAGE / BENEFITS:
- $59,870 – $82,321 per year
- Complete benefits plan and retirement program
- This is a time-limited ARRA-funded Community Energy Efficiency Pilot Program funded through January 2012.
