Home Performance Washington is an non-profit association formed in 2009 to achieve deep energy savings in Washington State homes by promoting energy audits and whole house retrofits.

To advance our mission, HPW accepts three classes of members: Home Performance Service Provider, Affiliated Organizations and Individuals.

• Collaborate with other members to advance highly effective residential energy services in Washington State.
• Communicate their values and market the quality of their services, programs and/or products directly to other members and customers.
• Have their voice heard in the debate about strategies to retrofit existing homes.
• Learn about residential energy conservation news and opportunities as they occur.
• Get a profile on HPW’s website and affiliated websites.
• Participate in HPW committees and initiatives
• Use Home Performance Washington logo on company website and marketing collateral.
• Browse job listings and post resumes on the HPW website.
• 20% discounts on Fluke and FLIR infrared thermography cameras.
• 12.5% discount on Retrotec equipment.

Membership Types

Home Performance Service Provider
This class is designed for companies or sole proprietorships that conduct residential energy services.

Service Provider benefits include: ($250 for up to 10 employees.  More rates below)
- Company Profile placement on the HPW website and affiliated websites.
- HPW logo placement on company website and marketing collateral.
- Full participation in HPW committees and initiatives.
- 5 complementary Individual Memberships for employees.

Affiliated Organization ($250 for up to 10 employees, non-profits, education and conservation programs. More rates below)
This type of membership is available to any party interested in supporting the goals of Home Performance Washington. There are several types of members that are represented by this class: Energy Conservation Program, Educational Institution, Manufacturer or Supplier, and Non-profit Organization.

Affiliated Organization benefits include:
- Company Profile placement on the HPW website and affiliated websites.
- HPW logo placement on company website and marketing collateral.
- Full participation in HPW committees and initiatives.
- 3 complementary Individual Memberships for employees.

Individual   ($100 professional, $50 associate, $25 student)
The Individual Membership is designed for professionals (trades people, energy raters, diagnosticians), students and other industry supporters. Specific benefits include: Full participation in HPW committees and initiatives.  Individual members are not listed on the HPW website and may not use the HPW logo to promote a business.
